On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Advanced Bioprocessing Technologies for Biomass Conversion - Sustainability and Bioresource Management (IBA-IFIBiop XI, 2024), we have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the conference, which will be held in the Asia World City - Hong Kong during December 1-4, 2024. In addition to the main conference, we are pleased to announce that a one-day symposium on "Advanced Bioprocessing for Biomass Waste Conversion" will be held on December 5, 2024. This symposium will be followed by a technological tour in Dongguan, China.

Increasing urban population and industrialization has caused a sharp decline in the earth’s bioresource and climate change making this world less sustainable. To build a climate resilience society, there is a pressing need of proper bioresource management and integrated biotechnological approaches for efficient bioresource and biowaste conversions for production of chemicals, materials, energy, and food to provide greater profitability and environmental sustainability. IBA-2024 is an international conference that focuses extensively on the latest advancements in the field of advanced bioprocessing for the conversion of biomass resources into chemicals, materials, energy, and food. This conference will definitely provide a platform for international collaboration, promote knowledge sharing, and inspire further research and development in biomass conversion technologies. Moreover, IBA-2024 with specific focus on the application of bioconversion technology for biomass resources will further provide impetus to the available and future possible biotechnologies through critical evaluation.
We strongly believe this conference will feature inspirational addresses from international and local experts in the field of biomass conversions into useful bio-energy and bio-products. It will cover the latest bioprocessing technologies and abatement of pollution emissions from biomass conversion sectors to combat global climate change.
